Exactly How Did Lebron James Get So Much Publicity As A High School Player?
was he really that good?
was it the city of akron, or the state of ohio that exposed him on a national level?
was it his school, his family, or scouts from the nba and ncaa?
-or-
was it something else? and please explain
can someone please tell me?

it starts with AAU, scouts go to see these potential nba stars when they are still in middle school and high school. ive read james’ biography, he was extremely talented as a kid and naturally got a lot of attention when he was in AAU. coaches make calls to people and scouts talk. james was such a big deal they pitted SVSM (st vincent st mary) against the nations best HS such as oak hill academy etc….these powerhouse HS get tons of scouts to come to the games to recruit and his HS games were being shown on ESPN. james was so good he got a lot of exposure early and he was on sports illusrated and in slam magazine and in just about ever magazine that talks about hoops. so everyone in the nation knew about james as a HS phoenom. the same can be said today about OJ Mayo, Derrick Rose, Michael Beasley, etc….
Not many 9th graders look like they should be in college. HIs parents should be tested for performance inhancing drugs. LOL
Did you see how big he was in high school? Is that what milk does for you?
It was the fact that he was the best high school player ever. Yes he’s really was that good and he was a lot better than we all thought he was, which is hard to believe.
#1 pick of the 2003 nba draft
Not many 18 year olds could come in the NBA and drop 20PPG, Grab 5RPG, and dish out 5APG. Imagine what he was doing to other 15-18 year olds at the highschool level.
